Psssssssst! Hey Buddy, Wanna Buy a Blog?

My blog is worth $4,516.32.
How much is your blog worth?

The ol' Blog 'O' Rama here seems to have gained a little value since the last time I checked. Hell, I'd sell it for half that, I'd just start another one anyway. If only anything else that I owned would gain value so fast. If only anything else that I owned would gain value at all . . .

I tend to think that when it comes to value, blogs are much like Beanie Babies and baseball cards, no matter what anyone says, they're worth exactly what you can sell 'em for, which is usually nowhere near what they're supposedly worth according to some "expert".

We'll see how many offers I get. Do I hear 5 grand?

Has Everyone sent in their comments on the proposed travel plan? I thought so, I knew I could count on you.

Sell that thing! HA!

Mine's worth $0.00. I don't think I'll proudly display that! :(

Hey- thanks for the link buddy! I reciprocated. :) (I realize I get a "tad" over the top sometimes, but you know...

Good holiday & weekend to you & your family!!!

Your blog, www.spunandspinning.blogspot.com, is worth $12,984.42...and yes, I have sent 45 comments in under 45 different emails....

Glad to see you're still stopping by Chuck, musta been something here worth coming back for more of I guess. As far as the $o.oo rating, mine was at $0.00 for a long time. I'm not exactly sure how the thing works, it's something to do with how many links there are to your site on others or something. If that's the case, then the best way to add value, (which brings me to Tony's comment), is to leave a lot of comments at other people's blogs! ;)

45 different emails? Damn man, how the heck do you remember 'em all? I got 4 and that's bad enough and two of them are nothing but spam traps that I just delete from time to time. You're awfully ambitious for a hippie. ;)

There are programs to "shill" things like this, where you need to blast emails out, email blaster is one I think, I have 4 emails too, I aint that ambitious. Did you post these email links at the mags and other boards? Does atv use have like a democratic underground where the users can ask the memmbers to "hit" a poll?
I did send the links to others in Oregon that ride the dunes, every little bit helps!
Oh, the blog value, I have no idea how it works, I think links but who knows!
Happy Turkey day to you and yours!!!

Well Tony, don't take this the wrong way, but I tend to think that bombarding polls and using automated email programs is dishonest, I can't say that things like this aren't going on, but I won't be a part of them.

I know the opposition uses tactics like this, that's a big part of the problem, the whole reason why the vocal minority tends to rule the silent majority. The majority is starting to realize the consequences of being silent however, so the tables are starting to turn. I just think that it's unfortunate that there can't be more cooperation between us and the environmental groups, opening these areas up to recreation all too often also opens them up to development and other commercial interests. We are forced to rely on Republicans to keep them open, and they never do anything without making a buck in the process. King George's forest plan is a perfect example, lots of people are getting behind it because it keeps the roads and trails open, never mind what kinds of devastation it invites.

Immagine the voice we'd have if groups like the Blue Ribbon Coalition could get together with the Sierra Club and pals. We could truly protect the environment and enjoy it at the same time, all the while fighting the real enemies, the ones that see the forests as their private cash cows. Judging by the elitist attitudes that I've seen from the greenies however, I don't see that happening anytime in the near future.

By the way, thanks for sending the link to your friends in Oregon. Riders on the West Coast really got it bad, they've been fighting this battle a lot longer that we have, any help will definately be appreciated.
