Wanna Go For A Ride Again?

Here's the same video posted on dailymotion.com. Tell me which one works better. It seems to me like youtube loads a little faster, but I like the fact that I don't have to fix faulty html tags to post the player on this one, and I don't have to resize it to make it fit on the page. Dailymotion has an autopost feature that will post videos to your blog automatically, but I don't really like the fact that I have to give them the log in info for my blogger account, don't want anybody hacking my life's work here. lol.

I fear not the copy and paste. ;)

Well Justin: I am coveting your experience. I know I shouldn't do that , but damnet it looks like you had sooooo much fun!!!! DD turned me on to video blogging too! Here is a video that I did on blip.tv. I think that the sites you and DD are using are better. But here is the URL just in case you are curious.

BTW is that a picture of you flipping off the camera talking about the bear? Nice gun. I have mixed feelings about the bears. In the back country, you cannot legally take a gun but damnsure need one but if you shoot the bear and are caught, you will get in trouble. What a stupid conundrum. I like nature and animals too, but you are right; when our lives are threatened we havta look out for ourselves! Have a great rest of week!

Howdy Disa. Any state that wouldn't allow guns in the backcountry doesn't sound like any place that I want to live for sure. Hell, in Montana anybody that DOESN'T take a gun with them in the mountains or at least some high powered pepper spray is generally regarded as an idiot, nobody that I know feels too sorry for them when they get themselves chewed up. Montana doesn't even prohibit concealed weapons once you're outside city limits, and getting a permit to carry in town isn't very hard at all. I've never went for the permit, no need for it really, but you can bet that something's strapped on my hip or in a shoulder holster when I venture forth into nature's playground. I don't hate animals by any means, there's few things that I enjoy more than seeing a bear in the wild from a distance, or happening upon a herd of fat, healthy elk or deer in the early summer when they're belly deep in rich green grass, but I've been around enough to know that when you're out there in the woods miles from anything, you're on their turf. They aren't going to show you any mercy if you wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time, so I prefer to be prepared just in case. Any time a bear gets shot out of season in a self defense situation here, there's an investigation of course. But unless something looks mighty fishy the person that shot the bear usually gets off. There have been cases of course of poachers shooting bears and then claiming that it was self defense, but if the evidence shows otherwise, they find themselves in a heap of trouble.

Howdy Tony! How's my favorite wave riding hippy today? LOL ;)

Glad to hear that Stella liked the video, I can't wait to show it to my little nephew, the little kids especially really get a kick out of that sort of thing. Heck, some of us big kids really get a kick out of that sort of thing too!

As far as things I can't do? Well . . . . let's see . . . . nope, nothing comes to mind. ;) Take it easy T.

Oh I know! I can't surf. And I can't sail. And I still can't play the guitar. That reminds me, I haven't been practicing lately, I had two whole chords mastered, nuts, now I'll have to start over. ;)

Sensitive, LOL. Even you had a hard time keeping a straight face on that one. I think we're safe with Memorial Day, I don't even think the Scientologists are trying to ban this one. I was tempted to click the "i think this video may offend" link, just as a joke, but I won't. ;)

You are right Justin it was all I could do to not laugh my arse off, I posted that one over at a friends site, didn't get a whole lot of response from them.

Pretty darn good job doing the video and the poem from the marine was good as well. keep up the good flilming work... Your breifing on the plane ride missed a few items he he he... but we don't expect everyone to listen as contently as they should. One of these days I will have to take u up in a plane and show you a thing or two.
Have you gotten the four wheeler out yet? I am sure ready to go camping and shooting this summer give me and brian a call so we can go up to the hills.

Howdy Jon, I figured that since I've only taken one commercial flight in my life, I must have a pretty darn good memory to remember as much as I did. LOL.

Anyway, the Mrs. got me a flying lesson for our anniversary, since you've never gotten your butt in gear and taken me up. That doesn't mean I wouldn't jump at the chance to go up with you though, it just means that if I'm going to kill someone on my first try, it won't be you! hehehehe

We've seriously got to just do it one of these days, I'd give my right nut to have a chance to fly Jerry's Taylor Craft once, I've threatened to build a model of it ever since he got it because I figured that was as close as I'd ever get, that and it's a damn cool old plane.

The 4 wheeler thing is bound to happen soon, if any rides start getting planned, you can bet that I'll give Brian a call.

Take it easy Jon, glad to hear you liked the video.

I really like the other template also, but I did not realize at the time that the site who provided them was hot-linking some of the functionality from a free web server and it had reached it's bandwidth limit and once that happened there goes the templated so I searched the net and came up with another one.
